With extensive, material-specific training and further education we will create a knowledge basis in your company. Analysis of customer needs as well as feasibility analysis of your first designs and ideas are a part of our consultancy philosophy, as well logistics and economic considerations.


Construction

We will be pleased to take on the mineral casting, suitable mould and bonding design as well as the construction of your machine frames and components. Technically perfected and economical mineral casting solutions are created on the most modern 3D-CAD systems.


FEM Analysis

Already in the draft phase – when there is still plenty of constructive freedom – the results of FEM calculations, e.g. deformations due to the influence of forces or temperature, tensions, natural frequencies or even dynamic behaviour in the construction part, can be taken into consideration. Further simulations allow the properties of construction parts to be optimised by iteration (e.g. weight, rigidity, natural frequency).


Interface optimisation

The EPUCRET development partnership goes beyond just technical advice on the machine frame– extending to the interface with adjacent machine components such as e.g. guides, casing, machine shoe, extraction of shavings. Further suggestions for design and optimisation of the interfaces are made in close collaboration with the component suppliers.


Tool construction

An essential part of the know-how in mineral casting technology is the construction of tools, such as moulding forms and jigs. This where the decisive way is paved for high quality, economical frames and components made of mineral casting. We construct and calculate all tools on the most modern 3D-CAD systems and thus assure high flexibility in the case of changes in construction.


R&D

Engineering research and development form the basis for innovative frame solutions. Here we are guided by the requirements of the machine constructor for even greater precision and productivity. For this reason, EUPCRET developed the “intelligent mineral casing frame”, which prevents thermal deformation by means of a sensor/actuator system.
