Cast parts made of mineral casting

Flat bed

Flat beds made of mineral casting are used in particular for flat and round sanding machines, as well as for automatic lathes, rotary stroke and automatic assembly machines, measuring instruments and toothed wheel processing machines. These beds often excel by a high degree of integration (cast pipes, tubes and cables).

Portal bed

An ideal frame structure for mineral cast solutions produced chipless and bonded, amongst other things, for high performance milling machines, tool grinding and circuit board drilling machines.

Inclined bed

Turning lathes, as well as automatic tool grinders, are typical areas of application for inclined beds. As a strategy for accuracy, both grinding as well as casting technology are possible.

Stand bed

Individual machine stands or bonded with a mineral casting bed make a multitude of frame variations possible for milling, gear processing and grinding machines, as well as processing centres and measuring machines. Previous maximum weights (stands: 11 tons, bed: 16 tons).

Gantry bed

Ideal structure for almost all processing procedures, as well as for automatic assembly machines and measuring machines. Highly accurate frame structure thanks to rigidity and thermal symmetry.

Travelling stand bed

A common frame structure for milling machines, coordinate measuring devices and processing centres. As a strategy for accuracy, both grinding as well as casting technology are possible for up to approx. 2,000 mm guide length. Previous maximum weight 14 tons.

Console stands

In this frame structure with high functionality, two non-machined, cast individual parts using mineral casting technology are mostly bonded to each other. Guides and other components are assembled.

Sliding carriages

Tool sliding carriages with a simple structure and corresponding wall thicknesses can be manufactured from mineral casting. The integration of media inlets is possible.

Filling

In special machines, prototypes and small series, the filling of metal shell constructions is a suitable possibility to utilise the vibration-suppressing properties of mineral casting.
